ALL STAR TRACK AND FIELD
North received All-State Status this past weekend at Hamline University Track and Field. Emily Urban finished 3rd in the pole vault, setting a school record by vaulting 11’6”. Also the boys 4x100 relay team of Isaiah Koran, Marshall Campbell-Dawson, Aryton Nelson and Akeem Sirleaf finished 6th. Akeem Sirleaf was also the State Champion in the 200 dash and the runner up in the long jump. This concludes another great track season for the girls and boys programs. The girls have now won 3 consecutive conference titles and the boys nine consecutive titles.

POINTS OF PRIDE
Dianne Sandberg has been selected as the French Teacher of the Year for The Minnesota Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French.
Ian Bronson has been selected by the Minnesota Local Section of the American Chemical Society as this year's recipient of the Chemistry Teacher of the Year award for high school.
North's Air Force JROTC squadron has been selected to receive the 2012-2013 AF JROTC Outstanding Organization Award.
