Office of Educational Equity funds programs aimed at closing the learning gap
Over the past several years, the Office of Educational Equity (OEE) has focused on helping schools build internal support around integration and equity issues. By providing staff with the needed tools and information, as well as empowering individual schools to address equity issues, such as the achievement gap, the OEE has been able to support large-scale change.
Recently, the OEE had the opportunity to invite staff members to submit program ideas to be implemented during the 2009-2010 school year. Nine of the programs submitted were selected by a review committee for implementation. Click here for more information.
