Feedback wanted: District 622 Annual Parent Survey

ISD 622 is interested in your feedback! Parents and guardians of District 622 students are invited to complete a short survey and offer feedback on the quality, safety, and engagement of their schools. Your responses help us understand how well we are serving our students and families and inform improvements to our offerings and practices.

Survey links:
The survey may take 5-10 minutes to complete. Parents should complete the survey once for each school in District 622 they have students attending. There is a link at the end of the survey to submit another response.
Your responses are anonymous and will not be associated with your name or those of your children. If you are unable to complete the survey online, paper copies can be picked up and returned to any school building office. The window to submit survey responses closes January 27th, 2017.

What is Cub Club??
Each month grade level teachers nominate two students per grade who are showing both behavior and academic skills (either growth in an area or consistent commitment to meeting Cowern expectations - be safe, be responsible, be respectful). Twelve students then have lunch with the principal (Big Daddy’s pizza and a juice box), play games, and are honored for doing their best!

How do you end a great first week of school? With a fun and informative all school assembly. Our new principal, Dr. Jennifer Wilson introduces herself with fun props. Our awesome PBIS show us what the golden awards our students can earn for displaying awesome behaviors.

Welcome to Cowern Elementary!

It's not the building that makes a school great, it’s the people that make a school great!  Our students, staff, and community know first hand that Cowern Elementary is a great school.  Cowern Elementary opened its doors for the first time back in 1952. Our school has provided strong academics and core values to thousands of students over the years.  We continue with this strong educational legacy as we head into our 62ndyear.  Our mission is that every student, without exception, will gain the foundational skills necessary to succeed beyond elementary school.  We are a warm and welcoming school community committed to embracing children and preparing them for the future!
