  • The REAL learn about the Hmong culture.

The REAL club traveled to the Hmong Village in order to get a better understanding of the Hmong culture and traditions. Over the last month they have been discussing their own cultures as well as the Hmong culture. The students were led by two of their peers around the 108, 000 square-foot building. The shopping center has 231 merchants selling many different products, plus 21 kitchens serving countless Asian specialties. The students learned about the traditional clothing, different fresh foods at the market, yearly traditions, and the Hmong history which is painted all over walls of the market. With all the beautiful Hmong culture surrounding the group the biggest hit was the bubble tea. Go figure!
