Oakdale Elementary Choir - Starting Up Again
Oakdale Elementary Choir will practice Thursday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in the
music room. The choir will be performing at the Volunteer Breakfast Tuesday, May 19th at 8:00 a.m. in the gym.
The last choir rehearsal is Thursday, May 21st at 8:00 a.m.

A free school menu app is now available for ISD 622. Go to www.isd622.nutrislice.com
to access the app or download it free to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play. Choose your school and then either the breakfast or lunch menu. See the daily menu as well as nutrition information, pictures and descriptions of each item offered. Connect to PayPams or apply for Free & Reduced Meal benefits. Literacy Tutor and Math Tutor – Minnesota Reading Corps and Minnesota
you love to help children grow their reading or math skills, succeed in school
and get extra support? If your answer is yes, you can be trained to serve as a
tutor with Minnesota Reading Corps or Minnesota Math Corps at Oakdale Elementary School. Whether you want to explore an
educational career, reenter the workforce, or give back to your community, you
can succeed as a tutor. Last year, Minnesota Reading Corps and Minnesota Math
Corps provided direct services to over 35,000 children in more than 700 schools
across the state.
Tutor, you’ll use strategies that help students believe in themselves
and succeed. Positions available
include: Preschool, Kindergarten Focus, and Elementary (K-3) Literacy Tutors.
As a Math
Tutor, you’ll help struggling 4th-8th grade students
prepare for Algebra. We offer part time
and full time options, and tutors typically serve most of their hours during
the regular school day.

specially trained school mentors. Tutors
come from many backgrounds and include recent high school and college grads,
career changers, stay-at-home parents, and retirees. Tutors may earn a living allowance,
educational award, federal student loan forbearance, and other benefits, and
have the chance to make a real difference in the life of a child.
