Title I is a federally funded program which provides financial support to public schools with high percentages of children eligible for free and reduced meals to help ensure that all children can succeed.

Title I funds are used to provide opportunities for children who are struggling to meet State academic standards in math and reading. In District 622, schools use Title I funds to provide additional educational opportunities for students both before and after school. 

Seven of District  622's nine elementary schools qualify for Title I funds.
