If a child shows any indications of being ill before leaving for school, the child should be kept at home. If student has had a fever of 100 degrees or more, the student should stay home for 24 hours after the temperature returns to normal and remains normal without fever reducing medication.


    A student with flu symptoms also needs to stay home for 24 hours without vomiting before returning to school. Call 651-702-8215 before 10 a.m. to report the absence.


    If a child becomes ill or is injured in school, the parent will be contacted.


    A student who has been absent from school should have a written excuse when he/she returns to school.


    Please report to the school immediately if your child has contacted any communicable disease (suspected or confirmed) and/or conditions such as head lice or scabies.


    If emergency treatment is needed and we cannot contact you, we will notify your family physician or call 911.
