• Volunteering

Volunteer opportunities abound at Carver School.  Every year, every week, every day we need willing parents to help out in a variety of ways, at school and at home. Some of the different ways parents can help out are:
    • Working with small groups of students in the classroom on reading and/or math
    • Sorting box tops
    • Help with Picture Days
    • Prepare food or sweets for Teacher Appreciation events or Veteran's Day
    • Correcting papers
    • Coloring, cutting, clerical-type work
    • Yearbook
    • Book Fair
    • Carnival
    • Math Masters
    • Chess Club
    • Field trips

We ask that all volunteers complete an application including a background check if you are working with students.  You can start the process by picking up a form in the main office or following this link to apply online.  Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Clara Rusch at crusch@isd622.org if you are interested in volunteering at Carver.  We love our volunteers!
