    AP Exam Registration Information

AP exams taken in the spring of 2020 must be paid in full before the fall deadline which is November 8th, 2019. This is a big change, nationally, from last year since now payment must be received in the fall for the spring exam.  The College Board charges $95.00 for each exam.  However, The Minnesota Department of Education contributes to lowering the initial $95 for each exam and your cost is $50.00 per exam

AP exams taken in the spring of 2020 must be paid for by check (payable to Tartan High School) or cash before the fall deadline which is November 8th, 2019. Please bring your payment to Mrs. Trivett, Testing Coordinator, in the 9/10 Office. Fees are reduced for families who qualify $10.00 per exam.

    Supporting Student Success

Tartan High School encourages all students in Advanced Placement (AP) courses to take the AP exams.  Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn college credit saving a significant amount of tuition. Students are more likely to stay engaged in class and tackle challenging topics head-on when they register in the fall. Fees for late registration and exam cancellation ensure that students don't wait until the last minute to make a decision. This has helped teachers create a classroom culture where students are “all in.”
