• The Classroom Engagement Model (CEM)

    The Classroom Engagement Model (CEM) is a set of research –based teaching practices that increase engagement and full participation of every child. Increased engagement leads to more learning, increased skill acquisition, and better outcomes for children.

    District 622 Preschool has been working with the centers of excellence for 6 years  23 classrooms are coached and have met fidelity  105 staff are trained in CEM  Students demonstrated 96% growth in "Follows Limits and Expectations" 2020-2021 school year
