Welcome to the beginning of a new school year! We are excited to have you back and to meet many new faces.

I am incredibly proud to be the principal of Skyview Middle School. I’ll take a moment to share a bit of my background. I am beginning my 23rd year in education. I spent 13 years in Saint Paul Public Schools, two years in Osseo Area Schools, and I am starting my 8th year in North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale. Before coming to Skyview Middle, I was the principal at Maplewood Middle School right here in ISD 622.

At Skyview, our collective purpose is Success for Every Student and Strong Community! We define success and strong community in two simple ways. Every student achieves at or above grade level standards, and every student has strong relationships with multiple staff members and students. We know that achieving these goals will require a team effort from all of us, staff, students, and families. The entire Skyview Staff is excited to work with all of you to accomplish our goals this year! 

You can expect that our staff will work hard every day to make sure your child is learning, feels a sense of belonging to our school community, and is having fun! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything I can do to help.
