We are so excited to announce that our school will be participating in the Apex Fun Run once again this year as our PTO's major fundraiser! The Apex program will be with our students from January 15th to January 25th teaching leadership and fitness as we raise pledges to help our school. Please watch in your child's take-home folder for your child's pledge kit and for emails that will be sent to you as the fun run gets nearer. The below newsletter also has additional information.
Just a reminder to families that the Skyview school day is from 9:15AM to 3:45PM.
Students should not be dropped off at school before 9:00AM unless they are a part of the Adventure Connection Program or attending Targeted Services Morning Class.
Every effort should be made to pick up students that are not riding the bus at 3:45PM. If there is a situation where you are unable to pick your child up at 3:45, please call the office with your anticipated arrival time.
Skyview is a Minnesota Reading Corps School and is looking for tutors for 2017 - 2018!
Minnesota Reading Corps launched in 2003, serving preschool children in four Head Start agencies. The early results showed the program model was effective. The program quickly expanded to serve children age 3 - grade 3 in many more locations throughout Minnesota. We are very fortunate to have Reading Corps volunteers in our school. If you would like to learn more about this program or apply to be a Reading Corps Tutor, please check out the links below.
