    Welcome to ISD 622 Benefits!

    Health Plan Survey
from the ISD 622 Insurance Committee

Employees that are currently enrolled in the District's health insurance were recently emailed a survey regarding the District's health plan.  The Insurance Committee is exploring options, including plan changes, to slow or limit future premium increases.   Effective July 1, 2019 a 10% overall premium increase was necessary to ensure there were sufficient funds to pay the expected expenses (claims) for the 19-20 benefit year.

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey!  We had almost 600 responses!  Click here to view the results of the survey.

There were also many written comments and some common themes that emerged.  Responses to those common themes will also be posted soon.

Health Insurance Information for July 1, 2019

On March 26th the Board of Education approved a 10% overall increase in health insurance rates.  This is an increase to the overall premium, not the specific amount the employee pays.  In most cases, the employee cost is increasing more than 10%.  This change is effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.  This increase was recommended by the Superintendent and the Insurance Committee.  Click here for more information about the upcoming increase.
