• BlueCross Blue Shield Settlement

    You may have recently received information regarding your possible eligibility for a settlement via your past BlueCross BlueShield Enrollment.  This settlement is result of an antitrust lawsuit that was brought against BlueCross BlueShield.  The District was not involved in the lawsuit, but employees and the District may be eligible for payment.

    The settlement for Individuals is effective February 7, 2008.   The District moved to HealthPartners July 1, 2009.  Thus, an individual’s eligibility would be for the time period February 7, 2008 (settlement start date) to June 30, 2009 or as your specific enrollment start or end date would fall within this time period.
     
    Here is the Claim Form.  The Claim Form must be postmarked by November 5, 2021.  Claims may be submitted online.  See the Claim Form or the BlueCross BlueShield Settlement Website for more details. **Do NOT send the Claim Form to the District. **
     
    Completing the Claim Form: 
    You will need to complete Section C of the form as an Individual.
