I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and let you know how excited I am to be back for another fantastic school year with our students and families. My name is Jill Miklausich, and I’m the principal at John Glenn Middle School. I’m fortunate to be a part of an incredibly dedicated, hard-working, caring, and talented staff who strives to ensure all students are stretched and challenged daily. We are committed to preparing every student for high school and college success, and our motto for this year is “Whatever It Takes.”
District 622 is my home. I spent 20 years teaching at Cowern Elementary School, a year as the Dean of Students at John Glenn, and a year as the principal of Maplewood Middle School before transitioning into my current administrative role as principal of John Glenn. This community is my family, and I hope to be here my entire career. There is no better place to call home!
I am passionate about student learning and believe successful school communities are built on positive, collaborative relationships among staff, students, families, and the community. At John Glenn, we have high academic and behavioral expectations of our students and support students to meet these high expectations. We do “Whatever It Takes” to ensure the success of our students.
We are proud of the work we do at John Glenn to meet the needs of every student, and we want to continue to get better at working collaborating with our families to form strong connections between school and home. Our families are important to us, and we love to hear from you. I encourage you to keep in touch with your child’s teachers and myself as we value your feedback and ideas. Please contact me anytime with questions, concerns, or just to chat. My phone number is 651-748-6310, and my e-mail is email@example.com I look forward to a fantastic school year.
