Welcome to Speech Team!Tartan High School Speech Team kicks off their season in November. Listen to announcements for details. The competitive season runs from late January through April. Speech is right for you if you are looking to gain confidence speaking in front of others, love to write, enjoy books and poetry, have a sense of humor, or have a passion that you want to share with others. It is a fun activity, looks great on college applications, and can help you build skills. The commitment is weekly meetings and practices from January through March, competitions are on Saturdays. The speech team can overlap easily with many other activities or sports, see the coach for more details. Please visit the Minnesota State High School League website for rules and requirements and details on the13 categories of competitive Speech. You may contact Ms. Raebel at lraebel@isd622.org for more information.
