Tartan Soccer

  • Senior Night:

Please join us on Thursday, October 3rd for our game against Mahtomedi for Senior Night - to wish our seniors well and thank them for their commitment to the soccer program.

    • Boys: Varsity plays at 5:00 PM.  JV plays at 5:15.  We will take photos of senior players and their parents/supporters beginning at 4:00.  If parents and/or supporters are not able to make the 4:00 time, there will also be an opportunity for a picture after the game.  After the game, players and parents are invited to the school cafeteria for pizza and additional senior recognition.
    • Girls: Varsity plays at 7:00 PM.   JV plays at 3:45.  We will take photos of senior players and their parents/supporters beginning at 5:45.  At halftime, the senior girls will be introduced with a few words of wisdom from them and their plans for the future.  After the game, players and their parents are invited to the school cafeteria for ice cream social and additional senior recognition.

    Soccer photos are available.

We have been fortunate to have had a few parents taking pictures of both boys and girls games. If you have additional pictures that you too would like to share, please contact the boosters for instructions. They will be added to the links below and displayed during a slideshow at the banquet.  Click the following links to see players in action and download your own copies; or swing by the concession stand to see them on the monitors.

    Volunteers for concessions:

We still need volunteers for this Saturday's rescheduled boys' games.  If you are able to assist please sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0a48aaab29a5fd0-soccer3 .

TARTAN SOCCER BOOSTERS TEAMS WITH BUFFALO WILD WINGS
The Tartan Soccer Booster Club has teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) to participate in its "Home Team Advantage Program" for our upcoming season!  This is a great opportunity to get out, enjoy the atmosphere and food of BWW, and raise some funds for the Tartan soccer program.

Below is a link to the “Teammate Card” and every time you, friends, or family show this card (printed or digital image) at the Oakdale Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, BWW will donate 10% of your total bill (less promotional discounts and unless otherwise specified) back to our program.

Here is How the Program Works:
    1. Bring your Teammate Card into your sponsoring restaurant, during your season. Details are on your card.
    2. Show your card, on a mobile device or via printed copy, to your server and let them know you are part of the Home Team Advantage Program. Tell them you are with "TEAM O."  (The letter "O," as in Oscar)
    3. The server will add 10% of your total sales to Tartan's soccer team’s running total. It’s that easy!
    4. At the end of the season, Buffalo Wild Wings will donate the 10% of sales that our entire team generated throughout  the season back to your team.
    5. The manager will contact our coaches to set up a date and time to present your team with the donation.

Buffalo Wild Wings believes that teamwork builds the foundation for a successful community and its goal is to help make our community the best place to live, work, play and dine. They want to help keep our community working and playing together.

Spread the word, "TEAM O" - and the link, to your friends and families; they too can participate, and our Titans can benefit.

Tartan Soccer Booster Club (updated  7-8-2017)

The main objective of the Tartan Soccer Booster Club (TSBC) is to support the boys and girls soccer programs at Tartan High School.  The Booster Club provides financial and volunteer support to the teams and works to help the soccer programs continue to grow and develop for the long term.

The Booster Club needs the support from the entire community, especially from the parents of our student athletes.  The more volunteers we have, the better our program can be.   We welcome everyone that desires to be involved in working with the Tartan Soccer program.  There are a variety of ways you can participate and become involved.
    The TSBC is a Non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

The TSBC needs multiple Committee Chair positions filled for 2019 as parents/kids graduate out of the program after the season.  If you are interested, or would just like to get more information, please contact any of the current board members (Harry Spinks, Mark Mathison or John Bell).

The Booster Club typically meets Monday nights @ 6:30 pm at Sgt. Peppers (930 Helena Ave N, Oakdale, MN 55128). Please see the dates listed on our events page.  If you have questions about the TSBC, please contact the board members via e-mail at tartansoccerboosters@gmail.com

General donations of any amount can be made here.

    BOUNCED CHECK POLICY

Effective January 2015, checks as payment will not be accepted from persons or families that have a history of insufficient funds.  This situation causes additional costs for our Club, as well as decreases overall revenue.

If you have been notified of an insufficient fund situation, please be prepared to pay with cash, PayPal, or money order for Booster Club dues, fundraisers and other payments to this organization.

Once all debts are paid, including service fees, check writing privileges may be reinstated at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

If you are looking for an easy way to pay for your child’s sports activities, consider being a volunteer with the Tartan Area Youth Enrichment (TAYE). TAYE is a non-profit 501c3 group of volunteers that work at a designated concession stand at Target Field.  Volunteers raise funds for area community service groups that help youth in various ways.

Each volunteer has an account to which credits/funds will be applied.  These credits can be disbursed at the volunteer’s discretion to another 501c3 organization of their choice, which can include payment of the annual Tartan Soccer Booster club fees.

For more information about the TAYE organization and volunteer opportunities, or to reserve your training spot, contact Gary or Sandy at tayenpo@gmail.com.

You can also visit the TAYE web site at http://www.tayemn.org/.
