• Opportunities for Giving

The success of many of North High School's academic, athletic, activity, and service programs has been possible only with strong, continuing support from parents, alumni, area businesses and community organizations for 100 years!

North students and staff frequently are encouraged to make school needs known and to tell community members how they can help. This page intends to do that.

    Golden Prom

The Golden Prom is an annual event for senior citizens, sponsored by economics students from North and Tartan high schools. The cost of the event is covered through grants, donations and generous support from the community. Senior citizens pay nothing.

Approximately 600 senior citizens attend the event which includes a buffet dinner, prom pictures, a live band, casino and bingo entertainment and door prizes.

What is needed : Donations of cash or door prizes for the annual senior citizens' prom.

    Notice about fundraising

Residents of the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District should be aware that school organizations, such as athletic teams, do conduct fundraisers throughout the year.

Organizations that conduct a fundraiser will be selling a product, such as coupon cards or books, magazines, calendars or other products. Organizations do not just solicit cash. If you get a request for money, and there is no product for sale, please contact the District as this is not a legitimate request.
Some residents have reported that a student came to their door asking for money to purchase football practice equipment. Please note that this is not a legitimate fundraiser.
