    Taking The Bus To Carver

    Most students ride the bus to Carver.  Buses arrive at Carver between 9:00 and 9:10 each morning.  They leave between 3:55 and 4:00.  Below you will find a link to our bus routes.  Please make sure to be at the stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

    Parent Drop Off/Pick Up
    Drop Off (9:00-9:15)
    In the morning, there are two options for dropping off your students.  The first option is to park your car in the main (west) parking lot.  This is also the area where buses drop off and pick up.  It is for this reason that we ask you to walk your child across the parking lot to the front door, rather than let them walk by themselves to the front door.
    The second option in the morning is to use the east parking lot and drive up to the east door (by the loading dock).  We have a staff person there in the morning and you can pull your car right next to the door where they can get out without you escorting them to the door.  Please be advised that this door does not open until 9:00 and then closes at 9:15.  Before or after these times, parents will need to escort their children to the main door.

    Pick Up (3:45-4:00)
    There is only one option for pick up.  Please park your car and enter the building through the main entrance.  Immediately to your right after entering is the media center.  Please enter the media center and wait inside for your child.  A sign-out sheet will be located in the Media center.  All children must be signed out before leaving. 

    Walking to School
    Many students walk to school.  In the morning, please be advised that students should not arrive before 9:00 unless they are scheduled for a before-school program.  There is no staff present to supervise them.  In the afternoon, walkers are escorted across Upper Afton Rd. by a staff member and School Patrols.
