2025-2026 School Year - August 2025
Dear 622 families.
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.
Last year. to provide a smooth transition for our 6th and 9th grade students, we staffed school on different days. It worked so well, we are keeping this schedule:
Sept 2 - Grades 1-6, Grade 9
Sept 3 - Grades 7-8 and 1~12, Webster K-12
Sept 4 - Kindergarten
Sept 9 - ESCE and Pre-K
Our student-related policies are listed on the left. Please review these behavior expectations with your student before school begins. To view the entire 622 Student & Family Handbook, use the QR code or visit the Back-to-School webpage.
As noted at the left, District 622 families will be asked to vote on two questions on the November ballot. One question will increase our operating levy. The other question supports technology for security and learning. Watch for more information in our messages to families or visit isd622.org/levy2025.
Remember, District 622 offers all students free breakfast and lunch every school day. However, payment is required for additional meals, ala carte items, and milk for bag lunches.
Your child’s principal will share additional back-to-school information.
We can’t wait to see you!
District 622 Student Responsibility Policies
District 622 students have the right to an education, the right to learn, and the right to due
process, as guaranteed under federal and state law. Students also have certain responsibilities
that contribute to the quality of their educational experience. The Student Responsibility Policies
listed below outline our expectations for student behavior, how we conduct ourselves at school,
and how we treat one another. We hope the adults in our students’ lives will support and model
the behaviors we expect our students to use. For more information, view the full policy documents
at isd622.org/about/policies or contact your school’s administration.

Application for Educational Benefits can reduce fees
Breakfast and lunch are free for all students in Minnesota. However, students must pay if they want milk for bagged lunches, an additional entrée, or anything from the â la carte menu.
622 receives important funding for student programs based on the number of forms completed, so please fill out the online application even if you don’t think you’ll qualify. There are discounts for those who qualify, including reduced fees for athletics and activities, swimming lessons, driver training, and community education courses, in addition to other discounts.
Remember, filling out the Application for Educational Benefits helps 622 well beyond the cafeteria. Use the QR code to fill out the application on LINQ Connect. Your help is greatly appreciated. District 622 is an equal opportunity provider.
