Grants and Special Projects

The Grants and Special Projects department focuses on winning and implementing grants that support ISD 622’s strategic goals and leading interdepartmental projects when needed. The department creates efficient processes, and provides communication and support.  Subject matter experts are encouraged to innovate and apply best practices while ensuring that projects are aligned with the district's mission and contribute to long-term success.

Rebekah Doyle directs the department and promotes a strategic approach to using grants to further the district’s mission. Rather than seeking funds for their own sake, grants are pursued to support existing goals and address identified needs. Key areas of focus include improving academic achievement, enhancing social-emotional learning, promoting equity and inclusion, ensuring safety, and preparing students for post-secondary success.
