Polar Arena
Polar Arena is the home of the North High School Boys and Girls hockey teams, the Tartan Area Youth Hockey Association, and the Maplewood Figure Skating Club.
Polar Arena opened to the public in December of 1969 and is owned and operated by Independent School District 622.

Stick and Puck Sessions are a chance for those who wish to skate with a stick and puck, nets are available. No lessons or adults on the ice. Ice sheet will be divided up if there is a large discrepancy in ages.
- Helmets are required.
- Pucks are not provided.
- Skate sharpening is available for $6.00
