The entries and the schedule for the conference meet is listed below. The rain date for Tuesday is on Wednesday and the rain date for Thursday would be Friday. The current weather forecast does not look good. Assume the schedule will go as planned and if not plan b is in place. Conference and Sections meets can be run but need to be postponed if there is lightning. I have learned that as a coach, I am working with Tartan Tough athletes that can overcome difficult situations and will receive support from their teammates. Looking forward to an exciting week of racing.

Transportation: A bus will be provided one leaving at 1:30 for the Field events and the other at 3:00. If parents would like to transport an athlete home after their event I understand it, especially with the weather forecast. Or if you child's race is not scheduled until later you may bring your child to the meet one hour prior to their scheduled race. Please let me know if you are picking up early or dropping them off later. I will keep this updated prior to the meet. Once the meet starts I will not be using electronics.

    AWARDS PRESENTATION – TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Track and field is a fantastic sport where anyone with the desire can participate and be a part of the team. Though every athlete should set different goals for themselves, the sensation of success feels the same. As coaches, our purpose is to help you achieve your individual goals. And success is not based on talent alone. Hard work, mental toughness, great training, and desire are all part of the equation. So give your best, train hard, be dedicated to your goals and make your time here worthwhile!

Through your experience on the team, we also hope you gain great insight into yourself. We hope you learn how to push yourself to the limit and then reflect on how far you’ve come. We hope you learn more about being healthy physically and mentally. We hope you learn to love track as a lifetime sport.  We hope you share many friendships and that together you make unforgettable memories as members of this team. And we hope you are proud to be a part of Tartan athletics. Best of luck to you this season!
