Welcome to my webpage.  I am looking forward to a good year full of learning.  I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a BA in Studio art and minors in Computer Science and Art History.  I have my Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota in Art Education.  I've been teaching a variety of courses at Tartan since 2009.  I primarily teach the technology-based art courses Graphic Arts 1 and 2, and Video Production 1 and 2). Through the years I have also taught a variety of classes such as; Sculpture, Studio Art 1, Jewelry, Mural Painting, Comic Booking, Animation, Audio Production, and Guitar. If you have any questions please e-mail me at jgranlund@isd622.org.

Everything for my class is available through Schoology sites. I am working to put up a public web page that hosts my curriculum I've developed over the years. I oversee the video production club and Plaid Press.
I am currently working on developing a broadcasting class and curriculum for Tartan HS as well as working with community members to create a Film Festival in the area. I am also excited to bring Graphics 1 offered as an online course this year.
