Participants will learn about their sport, how to improve their skills, and how to perform those skills in a competitive setting. This team is open to all participants - no cuts are made and there is no prior swim/dive experience needed. The only requirement to be on the team is a good work ethic and a solid commitment to the team. Practices are held at Maplewood Middle School pool and take place after school. 7th and 8th graders are able to join the team and practice times are set to allow for these athletes to attend. Meets are typically Thursday nights, with some Tuesday meets. One or two Saturday meets should also be expected.
