I am SO excited to be your child’s prekindergarten teacher this year at Richardson Elementary school.

    A little bit about me:

My name is Jessie Sorgaard and I began teaching prekindergarten here at Richardson in 2017. I am also an alumni of this school district, so it feels so good to be back where it all started for me. I am married to my wonderful husband, Matt and we have a baby girl together, born  March of 2019l! I also have a 3-year-old chocolate lab named Koda. I really enjoy spending time with my little family, watching my baby girl grow each day, taking Koda for walks, watching sports and scrapbooking.

    My Education

I graduated from Metropolitan State University in May of 2016 with my teaching license in Urban Early Childhood Education where I have the opportunity to teach students birth through third grade. This will be my 8th year teaching PreKindergarten as I taught Pre-K at a Catholic school for 5 years and this is my 3rd year at Richardson.
