    CID (Communicative Interactive Disorders)

Hello! My name is Laura Baker and this is my 5th year teaching in the CID (Communication Interactive Disorders) program at Eagle Point Elementary. The CID program is a center-based classroom designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other social/communication disorders. This year I am working with our CID students in Kindergarten and 1st grade.

I attended Northern Illinois University and have my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. I recently graduated from Metropolitan State University and have my Master's degree in Urban Education with a focus in curriculum and pedagogy. I have my Minnesota teaching licenses in different special education content areas.

I believe home-school communication is extremely important in your student's education. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am always available and eager to help!
