Welcome to my teacher page. I teach 8th grade Global Studies here at John Glenn. This is my 13th year in education, 11th year teaching middle school students. I have a passion for guiding students learning experience and pushing them to challenge themselves.

This year students will develop their global literacy through studying geography, history, governments, economics, and cultures.  Students will examine relationships, how people, places, and systems have changed and come to be, where things are, why conflicts exist, and more. We will study the world in regional units with a focus on current issues.

You can find more information about what we are doing in class utilizing the pages to the left and by reading the course syllabus. The calendar will have due dates listed for assignments. If you click on the assignment information about it will be provided including any papers you may need. We also will be utilizing Google Classroom throughout the year as well.

Outside of school, I'm a mom to three young boys. My husband and I enjoy chasing around our boys and when we get the spare time we like to go golfing or enjoy watching a hockey game.

Welcome to John Glenn! Please contact me if you have any questions.
