Hello Skyview Students & Families!
I'm Ms. Segermark, aka 'Ms. S'
October 14, 2020: This is a Skyview website assignment for my students to show that they can locate important information. Students, if you are reading this note—GOOD JOB! Here is the picture for the question on your Google Form today:
I am looking forward to a great school year! This is my second year at Skyview Middle School, and it already feels like home :-) I graduated from Carroll Univeristy in Waukesha, Wisconsin with a BA degree in K-12 Art Education, and I spent many years teaching Visual Arts before I decided to become a Special Education teacher. I earned my Minnesota teaching certificate in Special Education—Emotional and Behavioral Disorders—and completed my Master's degree in Special Education at St. Cloud State University. I am currently finishing a graduate teaching license in Autism Spectrum Disorders at Hamline University.
I genuinely appreciate the energy, humor and unique perspectives of middle school students. As a case manager, I am a strong advocate for my students and their families. This year, I will teach Advisory, Reading Strategies, Life Skills and Social Skills classes. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or need assistance.
