Richardson Elementary School

Dear Richardson Parents and Guardians,

I am Lisa Gruenewald, the proud principal of Richardson Elementary, and I love working in this amazing school community!

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family: a husband and three grown children. We are lucky our kids live close, so we are blessed to spend time together frequently. Much of my career has been in early learning, preschool through grade 3, in a variety of settings and managing several early literacy grants. 

I believe strongly in the power of relationships and collaboration. I have many years in education, nearly 30, and consider myself a lifelong learner. I’m eager to learn about you and your hopes and dreams for Richardson that together we will work to make a reality.

I am passionate about student learning and believe that successful school communities are built on positive relationships – among staff, with students, with their families, and with the greater school community. I also have high academic and behavioral expectations for students and will work in partnership with staff, students, and families to help each student at Richardson have a successful school experience.
