Welcome to the wonderful world of Kindergarten!  I am so excited to be able to work with your child this year.  We are going to learn so much and have a lot of fun along the way!

My name is Nicole DeRusha and I am honored to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year!  I attended the University of Wisconsin—River Falls for my undergrad and got my Master's Degree from St. Mary's University.  This will be my 10th year at Eagle Point.  I am thrilled to be at such an awesome school and cannot wait to get to know all of you throughout the school year.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Curt and our daughter, Ava.  I also love running, reading, and watching sports...especially the Vikings!!

I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can send a note with your child, e-mail me at NDeRusha@isd622.org, or call me at (651) 702-8362.  I want us to be a team and work together to make your child's year the best it can be.

I am looking forward to a wonderful & exciting year with you and your child! Please let me know if there is anything special I can do to make your child’s year a success.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. DeRusha
