North Senior High School
North High School first opened its doors in 1905 and has provided a quality, public education to area students. North continues to assist students in acquiring the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to become a responsible and productive citizen. The richly diverse student body at North comes from all walks of life and ethnicities.
North is a public secondary high school located in North St. Paul, Minnesota. North is a member of Minnesota Independent School District 622. North's 2020 graduating class had 410 seniors with 209 seniors boasting a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, 31 students with a gpa average of 4.0 or higher, and all 33 Senior AVID students were accepted into college. 265 seniors took an AP or CIS class this year.
Students are supported through various programs including Link Crew, which helps 9th graders transition into high school. A school-wide behavior program called Polar Pride reflects pride, respect, and responsibility in each North student.
North High is committed to preparing students for the future by providing a comprehensive curriculum that is designed to challenge the interests and abilities of the diverse student body. College credit is offered for full or part-time college attendance under the Minnesota Post-Secondary Enrollment Options program and through the College in the Schools program. In addition, North offers a number of Advanced Placement classes.
North High School offers students the opportunity to get involved beyond the classroom and to explore different after-school activities. North offers 36 co-curricular activities and 31 interscholastic athletics.
