                          Earth Science Stem
Along with Julie Cazett and Jody Murphy I will be teaching Science in 6th grade. This will be my 25th year at Maplewood. Before this I taught 6 years in Rialto, California (60 miles east of Los Angeles).
My formative years were in St. Cloud. I have attended the universities of Montana State, Bozeman, St. Cloud State, Bemidji State, UC San Bernardino, and the University of Minnesota, completing degrees in Fish and Wildlife Management and Secondary Science Education.
While I have spent most of my career teaching 🧬Life Science to seventh graders I have also taught several years teaching 🚀Physical Science, and a few years teaching 🌎Earth Science. This year I will again be teaching Earth Science.
My career is very much aligned with my interests; all things science, technology, and learning. Teaching allows me to share this enthusiasm and, hopefully I can inspire curiosity and a drive to pursue more. I also enjoy fishing, photography, and gadgets.
