    Tips for joining Google Classroom:
    • Go to the ISD622 home page
    • Choose Students --at the bottom, third red circle from the left
    • Choose Student email
    • Access your child’s ISD622 email account --NOT Gmail
    • Their isd622 email account will be: studentIDnumber@isd622.org
    • Example: if your child’s student ID was 123456, their email would be 123456@isd622.org
    • Their password will be the same password they use to check grades
    • Once your child’s email is open, they should see an email from me with a subject line of “Class Invitation.”
    • Open this email and choose JOIN

If your child can’t find the email from me, try this:

    • Once your child’s email is open click on the square of nine dots --found towards the top right
    • Choose Classroom --a picture of a green chalkboard with the word Classroom under it
    • Once Google Classroom is open, your child should then be able to see any invites from teachers that may be waiting for them to join

    e-Learning message:

    Hello Families,

I hope this message finds you well.  I want to give you some information about how I will structure e-Learning.  I will be using Google Classroom for both MN Studies and U.S. Studies classes.  On Thursday, March 26, students will receive an email from me inviting them to join the Google Classroom section for their scheduled class.  Please watch for this email and follow the directions to join the class.

Each Monday, starting on March 30, students who have joined their Google Classroom section will be able to access their daily assignments for the entire week.  For example, on Monday, March 30, students who have joined their class will be able to access their daily assignments for the week of March 30-April 3.  On Monday, April 6, students who have joined their class will be able to access their daily assignments for the week of April 6-9.

Each day's assignment will include very specific, step-by-step directions, so read carefully!  A due date will be listed for each assignment.  Please make sure you complete your work and submit your assignment by the due date given.

Let's remember that this is a new system of learning for all of us.  We will all need to do our best and be patient with each other.  If you have questions, contact me by email.  I will try to reply to email within 24 hours.

    Wishing you well,

    Ms. Galligan
