I am excited to be teaching at Maplewood Middle School, and am looking forward to being part of a wonderful community of educators, parents, and of course students. I was raised in the Twin Cities and am following in the footsteps of my mother who worked for MMS, and District 622, for almost 20 years. I attended Concordia University, St. Paul for my undergrad. I received my teaching licensure from California and have taught in classrooms of Preschoolers all the way through high schoolers. I spent the last two years working on my M. Ed. in Educational Best Practices, and in November last year I was able to complete that program.
I love playing any and all sports. I am a soccer coach, hockey player, and innertube water polo extraordinaire.
My wife, daughter, and I decided to move back to Minnesota when we found out that we are expecting our 2nd daughter! She will be making her grand appearance in October.
I am looking forward to working closely with you and your student each day, and if you ever have any questions or concerns please reach out.
