Hello I am Jon Adams.  I have been teaching in this wonderful school district since 1993.  I have worked at Tartan High SchooI, John Glenn Middle School and Skyview Middle School.  I have been blessed to teach all three grade levels while at Skyview Middle School.  I have also coached basketball, football and fast pitch softball.

My wife (also a teacher) and I have 2 children Drew (16) and Olivia (12). We also are blessed with a dog,  Bella our 4 year old Golden Doodle.  Drew is a varsity basketball player at East Ridge High School and Olivia plays both volleyball and basketball.

I am also an Assistant Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach at East Ridge High School and coach my daughter's 7th grade East Ridge traveling basketball team.  We have a very busy house!

Welcome to Physical Education and Health at Skyview Middle School!  My overall vision and objective is to enhance student's social, mental and physical abilities so they can succeed.  This year should be an exciting, encouraging and enjoyable learning experience for all.

I will be teaching five sections of the 8th grade elective course, "Daily PE Plus."   All 8th grade students will also receive at least 30 days of health education.

I strongly encourage all parent(s)/guardian(s) to become actively involved with their student's education.  Most of all, I am looking forward to building a relationship with all students and create an atmosphere of respect.
I will do my best to see that my site remains as fluid as possible.
