Survey Results
Parents and caregivers who’s scholars participated in ISD 622’s Freedom School completed a survey about the changes that they have seen in their child and in themselves after engaging in Freedom School. Families acknowledged a number of positive changes. 94% of families indicated that their child(ren) believes that they can make a difference, 93% indicated that they noticed a rise in confidence in their child(ren) and 86% felt as though their child(ren) is a better reader.
The changes that parents saw in themselves was also evident. 87% of parents indicated that they have a better understanding of how to help their child be successful and all parents surveyed planned to be more engaged with their child’s school work.
Finally, all parents said that they would recommend CDF Freedom Schools to other parents.
