    Good nutrition: Essential for learning

622 Nutrition Services provides students with healthy, well-balanced meals. The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program providing nutritionally balanced lunches to children each school day. All meals are USDA regulated.

Nutrition Services offers five meal components at lunch and four components at breakfast. These components are protein, bread, fruit, vegetables, and milk. The student has the option of selecting a minimum of three items.

Nutrition Services have made great changes to improve the quality of our program. We now offer more fresh fruits and vegetables, more whole-grain choices, and salads are offered in all of the schools.
