Early Childhood & Family Education

    COVID-19 Update
All enrolled families are eligible to participate in distance learning at no cost between March 30 and May 4. Families have received communication from their teachers about our new adventure in online learning together. District 622 ECFE will be refunding the remainder of spring semester at a prorated amount. We hope to have families back in class on May 5.

Early Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) classes are for parents and their children ages birth to 5 years old (before kindergarten). Classes help strengthen family relationships and provide information and resources to parents in their journey to help their children grow and develop to their maximum potential. We strive to build a strong foundation for families by forming a partnership between home and school.
ECFE classes are offered at two Early Learning Centers mornings, afternoons and evenings. ECFE is a public school program staffed by licensed parent and early childhood educators. ECFE classes are for all parents and children and have a sliding fee scale. No one is denied participation for inability to pay.
