Welcome

  • "Every Child, Every Day, Every Opportunity"

Welcome to Carver Elementary School where we are proud of the successes we achieve every day with every child through every opportunity. Carver Elementary has been designated as a “Reward School” through Minnesota’s Multiple Measures Rating (MMR).  Carver is recognized as being among the top performing Title I schools in the state of Minnesota.

     reward school

Carver Elementary School’s purpose is to meet the needs of ALL learners through a respectful, responsive, safe, and caring learning community.  Our students will become life-long learners and responsible citizens prepared to excel in our ever-changing world.

Carver's vision is that every student will meet or exceed literacy, mathematics and science benchmarks prior to entering middle school.

Carver will achieve this vision through the following means:

    • All students will receive high quality academic instruction.
    • All students will be supported in a culturally responsive school environment that teaches Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control.
    • All students will receive appropriate academic intervention to support progress towards academic benchmarks.

Communication and collaboration with our families is fundamental to the learning process.  You can expect to receive a bi-weekly school newsletter-the Panda Print, as well as classroom newsletters and information about homework assignments.  Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher if you have a question or concern as everybody works together for our students.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children and partnering with us to ensure the best educational opportunities for each and every one!
