AP TESTING UPDATES

Most tests will be scheduled to be taken at home digitally again this year.   Calculus AB and BC, Chemistry, Physics and Statistics are scheduled to be done at North as paper and pencil tests.   These tests can be taken digitally at home if necessary but would need to follow a different calendar.    If you feel that these test dates do not work for you, please fill out the following questionnaire and someone will contact you to help make alternative scheduling arrangements.

Things to keep in mind with digital testing:

-Exams will be full length

-Exams start at the same time worldwide. The exam timing is controlled by the digital testing app, not by you, the AP coordinator, or a proctor.  We do not have the option to change the start and finish times of tests.

-Exams can be taken on laptop and desktop computers or school issued chromebooks.  Digital exams can not be taken on a smartphone.

-On digital exams, you won’t be able to go back to questions.  For security reasons, digital exams don’t allow you to move back to previous questions or review questions you’ve already answered. If you skip ahead, you won’t be able to go back.

-You’ll need to complete a few simple steps before you can test.

Before exam day, you need to download the digital testing app and complete exam setup. We also recommend doing digital practice. On exam day, you need to check in before the exam starts.
